LONDON GLOBAL DANCE FESTIVAL (Main Event) SAT 30.5.2010

It was one of the most ambitious projects undertaken by promoter Alex Erfan...to bring the wealth of Europe and the world's DJs to London to create the first ever gay London Global Dance Festival. The event was to take over the entire the Spring Bank Holiday weekend with various local club brands like Onyx, Orange & Beyond to host several of the worlds bigger club brands like Muccassasina, Infinitia (Space of Sound), Face of Ibiza, Delice and more. Along with them would come the DJs, some of the best known, respected and popular DJs in the global dance scene and included internationals like Leomeo, Steven Redant, Ivan Gomez, Nacho Chapado, Phil Romano, DJ Eros and Danny Verde. Along with a wealth of local talent such as Pagano, Brent Nicholls, Paul Heron, Gonzalo Rivas, D'Johnny and more. With numerous satellite parties the whole thing was to culminate at the main event itself held at one of London's more well known gay venues Fire. All it's arches opened, including a couple of new ones, to welcome the DJs, the promoters, the gogos and the clubbers to this massive event. Fire was dressed up to impress especially the Mirror Arch which boasted a giant 'mirrorball replica' of the LGDF logo. Lasers, lights and some of the most incredible music joined forces to impress the mass of clubbers that came from all the gay tribes...gAylister, chav, gym hunk, raver, bear...all united by the love for dance music.
