LOVECHILD LONDON, 15.2.2009 (part 1): Alex Erfan returned triumphantly to the gay scene with his latest glamour circuit styled t' dance LoveChild held at the ultra swish and equally glamorous Pacha in Victoria. After a slow start, the club started to pick up very nicely with an assortment of London's gAylisters. The crowd was a mix of the new school and the old school, with the nights catch phrase being "I haven't seen you for ages". It took Alex Erfan to inject some glamour into the scene, and this bought the old Salvation crowd out of the woodwork to mix it up with today's blinged up club kids. Drag queens, gogos, metrosexuals, the simply gorgeous, hunky and stunning all mixing it up on the main dancefloor. Performances, of which there were plenty, including the artist OUT OF OFFCIE and TARA MACDONALD dropping their big club tunes. They were accompanied by a range of muscular and oiled up dancers specially outfitted in burlesque, minimal and sexy apparel. DJ Michael Gray provided a soundtrack of old and new tunes, funky edge, electronic tinged and uplifting creating a perfect sound for a Sunday t' dance in a lavish venue. The VIP room enjoyed it's own DJ in the form of Stewart Who & Per Qx. They also had their own toilets, viewing balcony (you could not ascend to the upper levels unless you bought a VIP ticket) and complimentary glass of champagne. LOVECHILD triumphed with quality over quantity, although we are sure the next event will probably be of equal measure of both once all the videos and pics taken at this event hit the net and the hype builds for the next LoveChild.
