Listed below are a selection of BARS that we believe SQ site visitors would like. As with our recommended clubs, these bars attract a wide range of London's gAylisters. Usually, the best night for these bars are Friday & Saturday, although some weekdays can be great fun and full of midweek hunks!

THE BOX

OPEN: 6pm-11pm.

CROWD: A cafe during the day, the most popular and hottest night is Friday where the Soho gay socialites, hunksters and gAylister gather.

BARCODE SOHO voted BEST BAR 2009

WHERE: 3-4 Archer St, Soho, W1 (>>MAP).
OPEN: 4pm-1am. Club downstairs from 10pm-1am on certain nights. FREE otherwise £4 Fri/Sat.

CROWD: Bears (on a Friday) otherwise a more down to earth, friendly and cruisy crowd. Good pre-club warm up venue on the weekends.

CROWD: Attracts a very easy on the eye good looking crowd from hunks to clubbers, from Soho socialites to gAylisters. Very busy.

SHADOW LOUNGE

OPEN: Mon-Sat 10:00pm-3:00am £5 weekday / £10 weekends

CROWD: A bar come club come private members venue Shadow Lounge attracts a wide cross section of people from the secretary/hairdresser type crowd to the more pretentious type. Plenty of Latin lovelies and hunks too.
