XMAS DAY Friday 25.12.09

ORANGE/TRADE @ FIRE: These former rivals became good friends earlier in this year when they realized that by combining forces you could create something really spectacular. With both traditionally holding Christmas night events it only made sense to come together again for this Christmas to create one fabulous Christmas party instead of two rival parties. For Christmas Night this, literally, is the only gAylist event. So after you have left your family and rejoined with your homo-family, celebrate Christmas well into Boxing Day.

HARD ON @ HIDDEN: Feel like stuffing something more than just the turkey? Want more cream than your getting in your egg nog? Feel silly in your cracker 'crown' party hat and want to slip into something a little more leathery or rubber like? Then get on down to the Christmas cumfest that is Hard On to add a pervy twist to your Xmas...HARD ON, putting the 'X' into Xmas.

KINKY TRADE @ THE RENAISSANCE ROOMS (10pm-8am): This year we thought it was all about NYD, then along comes the LoveChild, Juicy & Trade trio for the New Year resurrecting what used to be the home of Juicy and the previous venue for the HUSTLABALL. This should be a winner not only because it has three huge promoters involved (Alex Erfan, Andrew Harris and Lawrence Malice) who all know how to put an an extravaganza, but there is literally no competition or circuit like alternative. One party for us all!

BARCODE: Celebrate NYE with a down to earth crowd in Vauxhall & Soho. If you want it a little less circuit like and a little more intimate then join the BC crowd.

NYD Friday 1.1.2010

This New Year Day is probably one of the biggest we have seen in years with some of London's biggest clubs and events taking place. There is something for everyone; and while many may hate NYE, everyone loves NYD. The question is...which party do you go to? the parties are listed in the time that they start...

MATINEE AFTERHOURS @ CABLE (6am-2pm): Matinee welcomes the New Year as an after hours at super fabulous Cable. Hot boys, hot girls and an up for it friendly crowd will merge for an after hours that has style and glamour written all over. With over the top production, jaw dropping gogos and three rooms of music from Spanish progressive to anthemic remixes and more dirty underground tech style...Matinee is on everyone lips with guest DJ G-Martin.

BEYOND AFTERHOURS @ AREA (6am-2pm): Get ready to be blown away by BEYOND as it welcomes the New Year. To be in Vauxhall or not, that is the question? Beyond is infamous for these big events. Our guess is that it will be better later as the NYE trash sweeps through Vauxhall and is gradually replaced by the gAylister merging from other venues, house parties and the like.

SUPERMARTXE @ 02 BRIXTON ACADEMY (5pm-2am): We do not know what to make of this...pure genius or a moment of madness? Logan aims high this NYD by pulling SuperMartxe from the Coronet and putting it in the 5000 capacity Brixton Academy. He will no doubt match the massive venue with equally impressive production and stage shows. His aim is to impress, and with such an arena at his disposal he most likely will. Expect the Academy to be transformed in to an Alice In Winter-Wonderland spectacular. Will Logan end up being the smiling Cheshire Cat or the Mad Hatter....?

SEX @ SWEATBOX (3pm-10pm): Want some hot cock action on NYD? Well join Suzie Krueger at her sports fetish night SEX before hitting the big parties later that night. A sauna full of scantily clad, Katt tweaking and horny lads...mmmm!?

AS ONE @ FIRE (11pm-8am): 5 of London’s top promoter’s getting together to throw a massive NYD party taking over the whole of Fire and The Light Box...what else could you want? Covering all the bases you have the sexiness of LoveChild, the big bear boys of MegaWoof, the fabulous eccentrics of TrannyShack, the wired, weird and wonderfulness of Beyond and the gAylist and Latin passion of Logan Presents. ONYX AFTERHOURS @ AREA (7am-Superlate): This has to be one of the most decadent ideas...an afterhours after NYD! Being a weekend, we say why not, so Steven Geller leads the way transforming ONYX into a full on and pumping Afterhours event with all the production, pyrotechnics and energy we have come to expect from this club. From 7am you can party well into the 2nd of Janaury...where else but London can you go out New Years Eve and not get home until late on the 2nd day of January the next year!

JUICY RECOVERY @ FIRE: They say it's "a totally refreshing recovery party on the first Saturday night of the new decade! With Sparkling pumping house music...," Dance all the way until 3rd of January...who will be the last one standing? Totally wicked!

This was set up to be a bit of fun, to give other people an idea on what others and their friends are doing on Christmas and New Year. It is a shame that some find the need to use it politically or distort the results for their own means or gains.

We set up this poll as a test of the current system to see if cheating was possible, and it seemed our suspicions were unfortunately correct. Although the 'cheaters' got clever, we are one step ahead....and this decoy was perfect, thank you to them.

Our POLL of the hottest clubs of 2009 will NOT be using this system. Instead it will rely on using an email address as the single identity for the voter, with their IP being logged matching the email address to the location. In addition, votes will be randomly selected that will need to be verified before they are added to the result. At the end of the poll a further security check will be made to insure there are no duplicate emails and further verifications...with duplicates and failed verifications having their vote removed from the final result.

This way, the Seen Queen Club Poll will be the most secure and represent what people really think about the cream of London gay clubbing.
